Howdy anglers: Today was mostly a travel day, though we stopped and dropped a line without much success. The weather is great and we’re headed home to turn around for a 3-day.

Howdy anglers: We had slow start today, but a nice steady pace to finish the day off. We had a nice afternoon fishing for yellowtail and the grade was primo. The smallest yellow was 15 lbs and the the size goes up to 30. We’re going to fish for a couple of hours tomorrow before we call it a trip. Hope to see you on the water soon.

During a recent 5-day trip, Armando sketched this nice bluefin, maybe AFTER catching the second-place jackpot fish!
Howdy anglers, We have had a slow morning but it was more than we had this time yesterday, so it’s a start. We did have a variety stop today with yellowfin, bluefin and yellowtails–all nice grade of fish. Here is one of the nice bluefin that was caught during that stop. Angler John Lindsey of Newport Beach, CA with his nice 40 lb tuna. 
The yellowfin are 20-28 lbs and the yellows are around 15 lbs.Wish us luck for the rest of the day!

Howdy anglers: We’re currently drifting with a school of bluefin tuna and this is the first school that’s biting so far this morning. Howdy anglers: Nice fish coming over the rail for us this afternoon and we still have one hanging into the dark. We have been drifting on the same school since a little after lunch. The grade of the fish is 30 -60 lbs so we’re gonna stay here another day and hope to do it again tomorrow. Here is a sample of the grade of fish that was caught today by Bruce Gothar of Menifee, CA.

Hello anglers: Today we travelled home. Everyone has enough fish and based on where we finished the trip, we didn’t have much time to fish today.Thanks to Gary Gillingham from Accurate Products for all the goodies and the use of the tackle. For people who haven’t had the chance to use Accurate Products rod and reel combos, they get a chance to use it and realize how great the reels are and hopefully buy a rod and reel combo for their arsenal.
Hello anglers: We made a move south to the yellowtail zone and it paid off. We had great fishing this morning for good-size yellowtail. I’m sure the fish will average 20 pounds. Hello anglers:Well just when you think you’ve had a great day and it can’t get much better, it does! We had awesome fishing for yellowtail this morning and then we went to an area where there was a sign of yellowfin tuna. That’s when it got better–excellent fishing for yellowfin tuna from 25-30 pounds.The weather is great. Searcher friend Ray Guardiano from San Diego is pictured with two of his yellowfin tuna.

Same scenario with mixed-size fish up to 50 pounds.The weather is flat and calm today, it doesn’t get any better than this–great weather, good fishing and the Searcher family customers.
