We hope you find our new system helpful for booking your 2014 fishing trip on line. It starts with selecting a trip on the Schedule page and following the prompts. You’ll create an account and all credit card information will be secure. You’ll receive an email confirmation automatically, and I will follow up with a traditional Searcher receipt.
Your account will hold the trip date information (in case you forget which trip you signed up for) and your current deposit paid, so you can log in any time. And yes, if you forget your password, you can use the “Forgot password” function!
BUT…you can always still call or email directly! We are still happy to offer the personal service, in addition to this convenience. Now, let’s get to fishing! Book yourself now, we filled a lot of spots at the Long Beach show…
The Fred Hall Fishing Tackle and Boat Show in Long Beach is next week–Wed- Sun, March 5-9. Capt Art will be in the Searcher Sportfishing (600 aisle) booth on Thurs, Fri and Sat only. Long-range angler Dave Bell will be there Sat and Sun.
These 1.5 day trips are terrific–use Shimano’s rods and reels during the trip, interact with Shimano instructors and get to know your local tackle shop! Below are the contacts for the 2014 trips:
July 12-14 trip is hosted by Jimmy’s Fishing Supply 103 W. 17th Street, Costa Mesa 92627. Call them for a spot on the trip at 949-646-2585. Check them at www.jimmysoutdoors.com
July 14-16 trip is again hosted by Last Chance Tackle. Call them for a spot at 951-658-7410. Check them out at: www.lastchancetackle.com

Don’t miss the fishing extravanganza at the Long Beach Convention Center from March 5-9, 2014. Searcher Sportfishing will have a booth, as will all the tackle manufacturers and outfitters from all over the world. Don’t miss it! Sign up for your 2014 fishing trip in person and say hi to Captain Art! (and the rest of us…)

Our winter boat work is done and Searcher is in ship-shape. Capt Art and crew have six natural history tours to Baja California from now until late April.
In SONAR news, our 2013 winner is Mark Hampton. Mark brought friends (new to Searcher Sportfishing) fishing and he won! A rod-reel combo, courtesy of Shimano, and a free 3-day trip aboard Searcher in 2014 are his prizes. Congrats Mark!
“Ready to rock” with new bottom paint and inspections done. Capt Clicker and crew worked all week at Al Larson Boat Yard in San Pedro. Searcher is launched back to the water and en route to home port–San Diego!
Capt Clicker is a happy camper!
