Tackle Tip Thursday Vol.68 (Chunking)

Tackle Tip Thursday is here! Steve C. from PENN Fishing is back and giving us a great tackle tip for fishing at Guadalupe Island. Today is all about Chunking. Chunking for tuna, that is. You will need a Big hook (swivel is optional to prevent line twist.) 60#-80# 100# test line, Rod rated 60-130# and, a Penn international 16VISX filled with 100# braid with a casting length top shot. (Can be fluorocarbon or monofilament.) Chunking is for the bigger tuna 130-140# tuna. Don’t leave the dock without it.
Huge thank you to Steve C. and PENN Fishing for the tackle tip!
