Hey Anglers, We had a phenomenal day today, with excellent albacore fishing! The fish are 16-25 pounds, with the majority over 20 pounds. Most of the fish were caught on live bait with a few fish on artificial lures. There were plenty of jigstrikes. The black and purple Zuker lure with a amber head was the hot troll feather. Long-time Searcher passenger Hal Guy, from Canoga Park, caught a limit of albies today. Hal had a great day. We are headed for the coast to try for some yellowtail tomorrow for something different.
