Hello anglers, We enjoyed excellent fishing for albacore, a few yellowfin tuna and a few 40 to 50 pound bluefin tuna! All the fish were taken on live sardines with a few troll fish as well. The great thing about today was the size of the albies. All the fish are in excess of 25 pounds and the biggest is at least 40 pounds. The weather is great and we have a window of good weather through tomorrow so we are staying the night and fishing all day tomorrow. We plan to head to Guadalupe tomorrow night. We have two gentleman from Philadelphia aboard, Jim Tomlin and Frank Hendricks. They got exposed to great offshore fishing, California-style. They both had a great time. And Steve Carson is here to lend his knowledge to the group on this Penn University trip. He is trying a new Penn spinning reel and landed two nice albacore on the new reel! More tomorrow, Capt Art
