Hello anglers, Today we started in the area where there was excellent fishing for yellowfin tuna by several boats. Our day started with a few fish under the boat at daylight and we landed 3 bluefin tuna and 3 yellowfin tuna. We had a few jigstrikes in the morning in the same area. Unfortunately the tuna action slowed way down and we started looking for kelp paddies. We found several kelps but most of them had very little fish. It was a pretty slow afternoon with a few small yellowtail and dorado. Wow, things really changed from the day before! We landed 40 yellowtail, 30 yellowfin tuna, three bluefin tuna and seven dorado for our efforts. We are hoping tomorrow is a little more productive.
