Hello!

Checking in with a Searcher Sportfishing Accurate Trip #11 Report. We’re back at it again for the weekend.  Friday morning, June 12, 2026, we left Fisherman’s Landing on Trip #11, an Accurate Fishing Sponsored 3-Day weekend with pro-rep Kenny Phillips. First night started off with a bang and we found the BIG BLUEFIN! Easily 100+ lbs. We were up all night catching. Today, we have been enjoying the good weather and checking out some kelp for a little daytime action. Tonight we’ll be on the hunt for some more action.  We’ve got Joe “Speedy,” Kaden “Cheeto,” Rob, and Steve on deck and Josh and Jesse cooking up something good in the galley.

Checking in with a Searcher Sportfishing Trip #10 Report. We returned home Friday morning from Trip #10, a 3-Day Limited Load, June 9 – 12, 2026. It was a little challenging finding the right kelp, but once we did, we found some real quality yellows.

Hello!

We’re currently out on trip #6, 4-Day Limited Load, May 25 – 29, 2026. Despite tough fishing conditions and unfavorable weather the past couple of days, we’ve managed one good night of fishing on large grade tunas. Caught a few yellowtail and reds.

We’ve started posting our 2027 schedule. Trips 1 – 17 are online. Currently, trips are not open for online signup, however if you see a trip you would like to go on, add your name to the waitlist. If there’s availability, we’ll add you to the trip.

Monday morning, May 22, 2026, we returned home from Trip #5, Memorial Day Weekend, 3-Day, May 22 – 25, 2026. It was a great trip, and everyone had a blast. We had a couple of opportunities at night on 100+ lb. bluefin mixed with some daytime fishing.

Searcher Sportfishing Trip Report | Trip #4, 3-Day Limited Load, May 19 – 22, 2026

Hello!

Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, we drove out of Fisherman’s Landing on Trip #4, 3-Day Limited Load, May 19 – 22, 2026. Yesterday, we made a 100-mile move, and it paid off. We got on some big ones at night, and they were biting as good as they bite. The guys got multiple opportunities at 100+ lb. fish. So far, this has been a fun trip with tons of laughs, good food, and good fishing. We’ll see what today and tonight bring us.

We will return home tomorrow morning and head back out on Trip #5, Memorial Day Weekend, 3-Day, May 22 – 25, 2026.

Searcher Sportfishing Trip Report | Trip #3, John Waggoner Charter | 3-Day Ultra Limited Load, May 15 – 18, 2026

Good morning,

Monday morning, May 18, 2026, we returned home from Trip #3, the John Waggoner Charter, 3-Day Ultra Limited Load, May 15–18, 2026. Epic bluefin fishing continued over the weekend on John’s charter. After the guys caught what they wanted, we opted for some coastal fishing down south for the last couple of days to stay out of the weather. We checked out some new areas and scraped up a few yellowtail along with a nice variety.

Jesse and Dan prepared delicious meals throughout the trip. Some of the dishes included filet mignon with a red wine reduction, duck confit in a duck fat sauce, and chicken curry over rice, just to name a few.

Tomorrow morning, we’ll be heading back out on Trip #4, a 3-Day Limited Load trip running Tuesday, May 19, 2026, through Friday, May 22, 2026. With bluefin fishing going strong, one last-minute spot has just opened up on this trip. If you’ve been waiting for a chance to jump aboard, give the office a call or sign up online.

Searcher Sportfishing Trip Report | Trip #2, 3-Day Limited Load 2026

Good evening,

We’re currently out on Trip #2, 3-Day Limited Load, May 12 – 15, 2026. Tuesday morning, we left Fisherman’s Landing. The trip was off to a great start, catching our first yellowfin of the year that afternoon and had some full-speed action on bluefin after the sun went down. We’ve caught limits of bluefin 20-60 lbs., a few nice yellowtail, and a few nice yellowfin. It’s been good fishing, good weather and good food.

Jesse and Jeff prepared many delicious meals throughout the trip. Some of the standout dishes included a variety of sushi rolls, poke and shrimp ceviche, tomato pesto chicken sandwiches, shrimp ceviche with Mexican rice, and biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes.

Tomorrow morning, we return home and head back out on Trip #3, John Waggoner Charter, May 15 – 18, 2026.
