Hello anglers: We decided to try for the better-size fish (tuna) to start the day. We saw plenty of fish before daylight, after daylight, and through lunch time. We drifted for several hours with tuna around and even under the boat. We tried all methods from flat-fall lures, live sardines with and without weights, with a helium balloon, and with a kite. Nothing! We didn’t land a fish. Some days are like that….
We are currently relocating to another area where there are reports of smaller yellowfin tuna being caught. We are hoping for some action this afternoon. We will have plenty of time to catch some fish. Wish us luck!
Lunch was great with yellowtail melts and pasta salad, The weather is awesome, with sunny skies and calm seas.
